Unit 4 & Winter Assignment

This is your chance to build a set of meaningful resources

The issue of social inequity and social injustice has deep ties to the availability of credible mathematics in rising demographics.  As global forces push the competitive nature of success you’ll need to work even harder to achieve your goals.  I’m here to help you accomplish the first steps toward reaching your version of success, but it needs to start with you.

Every community you compete with will be using the resources that they have access to as they work towards the same hopes and dreams that you have.  As some communities have access to a disproportionate amount of wealth, you need to make use of a different resources that is equally valuable.  Your time and effort is a meaningful resource that shouldn’t be over looked.  Stay active and focused. Take on the role of a scholar and work harder than those you’re competing with.

The assignment is due Jan 13th.  A scholar would have this assignment nearly complete by tuesday Jan 10th.

Your goal is to complete the following study guide.  Your assignment is to create a mini-portfolio which will include Cornell-Notes on each of the UC Irvine Videos and a completed study guide. Ideally this assignment should span two days.  Watch the videos on day one and work through the study guide on day two.

Day one – Take details notes on the introduction video AND the other included videos.
Day two – Work through the study guide
Jan 10th – Come prepared to ask questions with a nearly completed assignment
